I may be one of the few, but Leno turned me off from the beginning,

He seemed to come on stage, and just read the cue cards..like he never saw any of the material before  .

And I thought I was alone in that.

I remember when he would fill in for Carson on the tonight show. I would go to bed early those nights.

I've never liked any of the late night talk show hosts except Carson.  I used to watch him after I'd put the kids to bed when I was babysitting.  Nobody after him had any class at all in comparison. If I stay up late enough to be watching late night talk shows... I'm on my sewing machine listening to a podcast or an audiobook instead.

As soon as the night shows attacked for political reasons they lost all attempts at humor and turned into partisan hit shows.  I don't watch them since Carson.

Humor is lost when all you can do is incite liberal audiences.  Now they are late night, "Orange Man Bad" shows.

I liked Carson and Tom Snyder

If we accept Leno as a car guy, and he does own a lot of nice cars, we have to assume that he will make choices which will further his car hobby. Therefore it makes little sense for Jay to promote anti-American commies like Obama or their bought apparatchiks like Joe. Unless Jay is among that special class of traitor who believes that if he sells out his country his new masters will allow him to keep his cars. At his dacha:anim_rofl2:

Clearly, he cannot drink from the goblet placed in front of him...

You buncha boomers and your Carson love!

But seriously, Carson, Leno, and O'Brien were the best Tonight Show hosts for their own reasons.  Once Fallon and the rest of the SJWs took over, it went down the shitter and they literally split the viewer base in half.  As far as Leno goes, I never get tired of watching reruns on YouTube of his "Headlines" skit when he was the host.   I'm not really much of a car guy because I prefer watching nice cars go up and down, not forward and backwards.  I will admit the vid I seen of his steam powered cars were pretty cool.

Truth be told, a lot of TV's today are still steam powered.

Other than hydro, and microscopic percentage of wind and solar. But honestly wind and solar are basically coal fired steam energy sources because if it wasn't for china using those power plants to make the products we wouldn't have the token light warmers.

As if warming up a black and white television full of tubes wasn't bad enough.

I wonder if Joe Pine could have helped Ketanji Brown Jackson answer questions during here Supreme Court softball interview process.

I finally watched the video.  I just find Biden so absolutely cringe worthy that I can't stand to watch him.

He is such a lying sack.  He can't get through a three minute segment without belching out another whopper.

He says, his dad didn't have very much money in the same statement where he describes his father as owning the largest car dealership in the state and giving Joe a brand new Corvette as a gift.  Nothing this guy says ever adds up and passes the smell test.  Or, in his case, the sniff test.

No offense intended to sales people, but knowing that his dad was a car salesman sure puts Biden's personality into perspective.

The pic below is an avatar image I made for my dad years ago, for his account on Glock Talk. I've been trying to find the large original image, but haven't had any luck yet. If I find it, I'll post it.

The image depicts my dad on his tiptoes, very nearly parboiling his chestnuts in the steam jet shooting out the relief valve of a Stanley Steamer automobile's pressure vessel.

Finding old pictures on PCs is a quagmire.  I tried to find a video of my son driving a locomotive at the Portola Train museum.  I looked everywhere.  I checked all of my back up drives and I couldn't find anything.

I finally dusted off an old Windows XP system that I had in the attic (since it had a 1394 port and I thought I'd copy the video from the cam corder again).  That's where I found a copy of the video.
