Holloman Air Force Base is on the edge of white Sands Missile Range, for years had a fenced off area that was home to the German Air Force training group. It was treated as sovereign German soil. Stop for coffee on Sundays and you're likely to be joined by the German pilots. I often saw about 8 of them wearing leathers decorated Hells' Angels style, but the semi circle title said "German Air Force Bike Club."
