A little more stick welding

I enjoy pushing my limits.  This was moderately difficult. Oddly enough ran at the same amperage as my recent box cutter welds.  But with much better penetration. 

I like the way these Lincoln rods burn. But there’s no margin for error.  Took a little while to dial in the settings. Much less than the 14 amps and I had to long arc it to attempt to keep it lit. Which with this thin metal was disastrous.  Had less burn through at 14 than 12.

That's pretty, but those razor blades won't work near as well now...

Might could work well as an anti-hornet weapon.

Tried to get some arc shots. Shade 8 was too dark.  But the first half was so good the slag peeled off. The arc went out right about the middle. Getting it restarted was a bit of a challenge. Going to try shade 5 next.
