Administrators Eric Posted October 10, 2022 Administrators Share Posted October 10, 2022 Happy Columbus Day, from a fellow indiginious American. The first Powell of my bloodline came to this land in 1626. He landed at Jamestown and spent the rest of his life in that area. The last couple of decades were spent living among the Chickahominy Indians. As for Inidiginous People's Day, I am sick of social justice worriers deconstructing this nation's culture and history and co-opting our heritage to serve their agenda. 2
tous
Do you think that if Columbus had just sailed on by, those indigenous peoples would have ultimately invented the wheel or ever saw a horse? Or constructed a building from wood? Or opened casinos in many states and became wealthy? 4
railfancwb
Believe the indigenous peoples swapped tobacco and syphilis for beverage alcohol. 3
