I don't remember if we have done this before. I was just looking up a car from an old Adam-12 episode and it got me thinking about the subject.

Let's see some of the best/worst TV/movie cars, old or young.

This car was just a VW Bug in drag, but when I was a kid, it was iconic and it was a fun show. FWIW, I've done a lot of work on VW boxer engines. You could get more than enough power out of one to have a hell of a lot of fun with a car this light.

Oh, the show was Hardcastle & McCormick, for any youngsters lurking about.

This one needs no introduction. It wasn't actually a Daytona, of course. It was a replica built on a Corvette chassis & drivetrain. It was actually a very nicely built kit. I'd love to have one.

This is not the one from Dukes of Hazard obviously, but I always loved the Golden Eagle Edition Jeep. I was actually familiar with it before Dukes of Hazzard came about and was probably more excited to see the Jeep on the show than the Charger.

The 1967 Impala, from the Supernatural series. I just wish they could have gotten the freaking sound bites a bit more consistent. The poor car didn't know if it was an auto or a stick. Maybe it was trans.

One of the regulars on the show Dallas, a worker on the ranch who later became a more im portant character I think, drove a Jeep Hancho pickup. I was a kid then and didn't pay much attention to the show when it was on, but that truck caught my eye. I always liked those Jeep trucks.

Probably more fun than the "real" $$$$ ones

This is hands-down my favorite pickup truck ever used on a TV series. I wouldn't change a thing.

simon simon actual tv truck copy.webp

My brother had a 4wd Dodge truck similar to that but with large single headlights and a numper that was like that, but written on the big black bumper in big white letters it said, "YOU ARE MY CRUMPLE ZONE"
