Got one in my shed I was going to put on my old caddy project.

I love that sound. I probably prefer the Sonic Turbo muffler & Header sound, but glasspacks sounded sweet as well.

Alot depends on the engine and rpm range.  The exhaust on my 94 vette(flowmasters) had an awful drone at low cruising speed.  say 1500 rpm if I recall.  The one I have now is a thrush, but I don't have anything cool to put it on.  Too much of my wrenching is on the honda trying to get it driveable so I can save on gas.  A cool project car is a bit off in the distance.  But once I get the honda going I can maybe find a project with the savings.

More modern exhaust systems, starting with Flowmaster and Borla back in the late eighties, began to make a higher-pitched exhaust note that I don't like as much. The old Thrush Sonic Turbos made a deep rumble that increased to a roar, but the pitch never went up much. I miss that sound.
