Sorry to whine, but I don't understand how people can post unintelligible line noise when they're trying to sell stuff. To wit:

==============================================================

Item Description: Smith and Wesson 38 In very good and that’s lightly. Actually better than that.
No Model number only serial number best I can tell 1956 or 1957
Some of the guru’s know more that I. I don’t claim to know it all but don’t bet on my deal if I offer to bet, you will lose.
But you will gain on this beauty if you buy it.
Look at the pics. Lock up is very tight no play trigger and cylinder is very tight too.
$575.00 OBRO near me unless we agree different.

==============================================================

Now, howinthehell is someone s'possed to make sense of that? I wonder if a lot of folks use speech-to-text to post this stuff. :(

Me:  Purty. Do you know who did the refinish, by any chance?

Seller: If it was refinished it was before I got it. If it was and I’m not sure, I’m not one to claim I know everything but whoever done it, did a hell of a job.

Lots of times we like to buff out those pits before reblueing. But it's a big tent... :greensupergrin:

I wonder if that quilt might be worth more than the pistol.
