gwalchmai
How many such food plants have burned each year for the preceding 50 years? Is this year's number significantly different?

janice6
"There are many food and beverage processing establishments (plants) in the United States -- 36,486, owned by about 31,401 companies in 2017, according to the most recent comprehensive data in the Census Bureau's 2017 Economic Census." (So says:) https://leadstories.com/hoax-alert/2022/04/fact-check-recent-fires-at-us-food-processing-plants-do-not-show-plot-to-cause-food-shortage.html Like Ripley said, "Believe it or else".......

pipedreams
Social media users are sharing the claim that there is a planned increase in fires at food processing plants to purposefully create food shortages. However, there is no evidence to support this claim. https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-processing-fire-idUSL2N2WW2CY
pipedreams
I think shortages may have more to do with recovering from Covid and the current economy.

Probably not the numbers, so much, but the strategic "randomness" of it. Then there are the "recalls" that have caused a lot of problems to add in. Just like the 2020 election map. So strategic it is absolutely amazing. Seems that with very little exception, the counties won were extremely well placed. Remember when RBG said she didn't want to give up her seat on the court until the next president was "installed"? I have no use for her in the least, but she wasn't the kind of person that would make a statement like that at random. I'm pretty sure she let the cat out, and no one was paying attention. 2

Liberals are afraid of the big bad world. It scares them so much they willingly give control over their lives to the government to feel safe. When government controls your life you are NEVER SAFE!
