I know people that do this and/or repair radio transmission equipment on those towers.

Oddly enough for the rest of us, they have no fear of doing this, it's just a job to them.

A friend of mine told me about waiting till after midnight to climb a TV transmission tower in the dark.  At the top he had to disconnect his safety harness to climb hand over hand over the antenna to then change a bulb above the antenna.

Thank God for these people because I could not do it!
