Biden’s Big Lie: ‘Green’ Energy Doesn’t Save Money, It’s 4 to 6 Times MORE Expensive

President Joe Biden keeps claiming that wind and solar energy are going to save money for consumers. But more government subsidies to “renewable energy” is a key feature of the White House anti-inflation strategy recently announced by Biden.

He probably got that idea from John Kerry, the administration’s climate czar, who recently claimed that “solar and wind are less expensive than coal or oil or gas.” Pete Buttigieg, the Biden Transportation secretary, makes the same claims about the thousands of dollars that motorists can save if they buy electric cars.

"Let’s get the facts straight. The cost isn’t just what you pay at the retail level for gas or power. It also includes the taxes you pay to subsidize the power. A 2017 study by the Department of Energy found that for every dollar of government subsidy per BTU unit of energy produced from fossil fuels, wind and solar get at least $10.

Imagine paying four to six times as much every month for the same electricity! That’s the green paradise world that the Biden administration wants for America."

The numbers don’t lie. From mining the materials, building a wind farm, maintaining it then dismantling it after its lifetime is up, takes more energy than it will ever produce. If the lifespan were 100 years as we were originally told it might be different but with a 20-25 year usable life it is a net energy loss.

The same lies were told for every “Green” energy source.

We now live in the culture of the lie.

Wonder when it will turn out like recycling.  Counties here have found out its too expensive to recycle so they went back to one bin.

With the price and availability of diesel most of the country won't be able to buy or afford to run two trucks.

They've been lying to us since I was born, and that's a long, long time ago...

I remember some of the horse pucky teachers were passing off as truth in the 60's and 70's. It sounded like lies way back then and turned to that it was.

In the 70s they told us that air pollution was going to be so bad it would block out the sun and cause a 1000 year long ice age.  But don’t worry. Acid rain was going to kill all the plants first and we would all starve long before we freeze. Unless we all get nuked first. Same crap, different generation.

And we would be out of oil by 1990, but also have flying cars. Stupid liberal teachers.
