pipedreams
Anything new along those line worth discussing? I remember when I first joined the OtherPlace it was a hot topic. Seemed like every week there was a new thread about holsters, belts and shaving. Now these are rarely mentioned subjects. I did take a look at the GRIP6 belts today, anyone tried those? https://grip6.com/pages/collections-page
Walt Longmire
Chest holsters are getting quite popular in Alaska when packing bear protection. Easy to get at and not in the way of a pack.

Same thing applies to things such as your knife. Get yourself trapped 50 feet off the ground and can't get to your knife to cut yourself loose or worse you get it and drop the dang thing. A good small knife on a lanyard you can't loose.
railfancwb
I have a holster touted as a “driver’s holster” which is worn on the left side for cross draw. My normal carry holster. Strapped in the drivers seat with three point belt, shirt and maybe coat over gun and under seat belt, access is a challenge. Otherwise it is comfortable and convenient. Have been considering a chest holster but walking around concealment could be a challenge.

How often is this necessary? How frequently do you replace blades?

gwalchmai
It's a safety razor. Straight razors is dangerous. I replace those Feather blades when they start to pull or every month, whichever comes first.

railfancwb
Haven’t tried it, but heard one way to carry a naked Peacemaker is tucked inside the waistband with the loading gate flipped open.
