My dogs are idiots...

I have two smaller dogs, 27 pounds and 12 pounds. I have several internal doors in my home with doggie doors installed, allowing them to move through my house through closed doors. These doggie doors have plastic flaps they have to push open with their nose.

I just heard both my dogs having a fit and whimpering because they couldn't get through a door. The plastic flap had been knocked off, leaving an open hole where the flap should be. They couldn't figure out how to go through the OPEN HOLE since there wasn't a plastic flap to push out of the way. They were hopelessly trapped....

My dogs are idiots, that is all....

I have a doggy door on my office door. It is a real long office.  One side is my working office. The other is my private office. What some guys call a man cave. Divided by a set of bookshelves. The private side has a door with no doggie door. If I go into the working side they wait until I close the door then they use the doggy door. If I go into my private side through it’s door, they sometimes go back to the doggy door on the other side and come in through that even if my private door is open.

If the back sliding door is open they still use the doggy door in the wall.
