gwalchmai
So for the past few days I've been helping Mrs. G and her mom move their "antique collectibles" (junque) booths out of their Center for Antique Collectibles and into temporary storage facilities (woodshed) until their new space is ready (outer space would be my suggestion). Then yesterday evening Mrs. G had "just a couple" of tomato plants she needed me to dig holes for in the garden. I think the post-hole diggers did me in. My back feels like Izzy Mandelbaum's after a TV lifting contest. Tylenol and coffee is all I'm lifting today. 1

I feel ya' - I planted 60' of potatoes (dug ditch, planted taters, covered taters, chased off chickens) yesterday, and have 40' more to go today... and it hurts. I'm not happy shoveling.
Batesmotel
I hear you. My back is a mess. I’ve been doing some serious cleaning now my kids are out of the house. Lots of stuff going to the thrift store. Every day I say I’m taking today off to just rest. Except just one more item out of the basement. That leads to another…….. Maybe I’ll rest tomorrow.
Ricordo
Fwiw. I suffered low back pain for a couple of years until my problem was identified. It was mechanical. A pair of periodically adjusted arch supports solved the issue. 1
ChuteTheMall
Swimming a few dozen laps might help. Repeat daily.

Let me know when it gets too bad and I can go in and scrape the surfaces and you'll be good as new. Sorta."
Walt Longmire
My sacro joints cause most of my pain for the past 20 plus years, but I do have some arthritis in my lower back. I had injections in the sacro joints back in August. What a relief. I'm due for more but have a schedule conflict. Eventually (hopefully soon) those joints will be fused with no loss of mobility.
Peng
At least you guys did something to earn your back pain. I threw out my back once brushing my teeth. Took me an hour to move 15 feet from my bed to the bathroom. 1

Took me an hour to move 15 feet from my bed to the bathroom. Broke one vertebrae in my neck, two in my low back. Broke pelvis in two places. Broke my sacrum on both sides. Some of the worst back pain I ever felt was from bending down to pick up my shoes one day. Just the perfect angle to pinch something.
DWARREN123
I hurt quite often. Fracture L1 thru L-5, broken shoulder blade, broken collar bone, 4 bulged discs in neck and just plain old. Somehow, I keep on moving.

Most of the time when I drop something, it stays right there until I feel like picking it up. Usually much later.

Huaco Kid
I had major back surgery 30 years ago. I got better. I'm still amazingly flexible, for an old man.

I had the scraper procedure done a few months back. No relief.
