The five seasons in the west.

When I lived on the wet side we used to have four seasons. Snow and rain, rain, construction, rain again.

One time in eastern Washington I came around a bend and there was a mountain of tumbleweeds all the way across the road. It was seventy feet tall against the bank on one side and buried all the lanes to the guard rail on the other side. The wind collected them there. Since they were only a few feet deep at the guard rail I drove through them on that side. Had a few stuck under the truck when I got to my destination some sixty miles down the road.
