Lost in translation.

So I was asked by a friend to send his wife a note explaining the possible dangers and safety procedures in a photographic darkroom. Just a basic university type black and white setup. Apparently the granddaughter has the chance to use one but she and several members of the extended family have a skin sensitivity to zinc and possibly other metals in high concentrations.

His wife also threw it out to members of the family in the old country to see if anyone had ever used a darkroom and were they okay after.

The problem was that she doesn’t speak the language fluently. I think Estonian or Polish. And they don’t have the best English. So online translation to the rescue.

Darkroom turned to room of darkness. A room devoid of light. Light turned to the Light of Christ or Love of god. So darkroom is a place of Satan.

So after some back and forth translation errors. Cindy has a chance to use a darkroom. Has anyone in the family had a problem using a darkroom? Turned to Cindy is joining Satan. Is the family okay with that?
