janice6
I have a credit card; I don't like them because you can spend the same dollar many many times over before you get the bill. Spending real money, you can only spend that dollar once! I abhor owing money, so I keep it (CC) at around $1K just to keep a credit score. Sometimes I run it up out of necessity but the next month I pay everything except that base $1K. Seems to work. CC score was 840 when I bought the last car. I buy lots of stuff for my wife so Pay Pal gets and exercise on the internet. Forces me to CC. But I like to see her happy with her presents, like a little kid at Christmas.
GT4494
I have my CCs all on an automatic "Pay balance in full" each month. Use them like debit cards but instead of my monies, I use theirs for 30-45 days. I don't get much interest but any is better then none.
