pipedreams
"In a WaPo “Made by History” op-ed titled The Ottawa Trucker Convoy Is Rooted in Canada’s Settler Colonial History, Taylor Dysart, a Ph.D. candidate in the department of history and sociology of science at the University of Pennsylvania, awkwardly argues that “one’s entitlement to freedom is a key component of White supremacy.” " Here’s our first snippet of Dysart’s drivel, via WaPo: The bottom line: "Clueless leftist elites like Tayler Dysart, who thrive in the no-longer-hallowed halls of academia, are a dime a dozen. They are relevant only to themselves and their elitist colleagues who live in the same nonsensical world; devoid of facts, reality, or everyday-life experiences. Nothing they say should be taken seriously. However, the Washington Post publishing and highlighting the drivel of Ms. Dysart is a different story. It reinforces what we already know about the state of American “journalism” and the “news” they choose to print, air, and push." https://redstate.com/mike_miller/2022/02/19/wapo-writer-actually-declares-individual-freedom-a-key-component-of-white-supremacy-n524906 1
Mrs.Cicero
Fine. Apparently, Ms Dipshit thinks freedom is bad. Therefore, Ms.Dipshit should spend the rest of her natural life enslaved, with no chance for freedom, ever. I think her job should be shoveling ****, because she is already so good at it. 5

railfancwb
Ya know, a fair number of white people in the states are descended from Irish and others the British sent over as slaves. Are those descendents as entitled to reparations as any other descendents of slaves? 1
janice6
The first slaves in America were white people. They were called, "Indentured Servants" to pay their passage to get to the "new world". Some were even prisoners/criminals from the European countries. The government defined Blacks as slaves, to differentiate them from the White indentured servants. Slave was a derogatory term used for the Blacks as determined by the federal government. The first Slave owner in America was a Black man who had a Black slave. Whining about "being slaves" is a lie! There is no one who was once a slave in this country now. Claiming slavery is simply an excuse to get something for nothing and to be "more equal" than the rest of us. The unifying factor between all races is the desire to belong to the Middle Class or better. That desire to better oneself is what determines that we are equal. Nothing else.
