DWARREN123
I have been cleaning my rifles with Hoppe's cleaner. Well today I was cleaning and spotted some Marvel Mystery Oil I had and thought "What the Heck Let me Try This". Put a wet patch down the bore and let it sit for about 5 minutes. I had just cleaned my Ruger American Rimfire with Hoppe's and the patches were coming out clean. Well after 5 minutes of the Marvels in the bore I ran a patch down it not expecting much. The patch came out black. After 7 more patches they finally came out clean. I had not thought of Marvels as a bore cleaner before but will use it in the future.

I have been using Breakfree CLP for like EVER!! I actually take parts of certain guns and soak it in Breakfree for about half an hour. I have never had anything that makes parts so SLICK, metal to metal. It's just my All around go too Gun Cleaner, and lube.

Batesmotel
One tip I was given and swear by. Use a Dewey’s 20 cal rod for .22 rim fire rifles. They work great and don’t bind up like a .22 rod can on match guns.
