I've carried this knife daily, since I bought it at the SHOT Show, in 2001.

I really like that. Where'd you get it, and how much was it?

Its by Walter Grigg. That's mastodon Ivory handles.  My wife looks in every now and then so  Price was about plus or minus a few dollars plus shipping.

I had a sizable collection of knives at one point, but they proved to not be fire resistant, so I had to start over.

The Benchmade Boost is my EDC. The second is an old favorite with a black chrome blade. Third was just pretty so I grabbed it and the fourth is a new acquisition that I also just liked the looks of.

I had a contract job in Toronto in 1976. While I was taking a lunch break I saw this Russel in a store window. Can't remember the exact price but I know it was under $20 Canadian. I remember I had to declare it when I came back across the border. First time I ever experienced that but the only other time I was out of the USA was my trip to SE Asia.

It's seen lots of use over the years.
