US general tells British special forces: Stop rescuing people in Kabul, you're making us look bad

IF that story is true, it was probably communicated over tea and crumpets.

I find it hard to believe that the CO of the 82nd would phrase such a request in the manner reported.

The Brit commander should tell the US commander to bugger off, his mission is to save British citizens and not to make the US look good.

Seems the British have no lost their honor, unlike the US.

The US alone, can make itself look good or bad, the British have nothing to do with it.  

We see a reflection of our president on every aspect of our international relations!
