Did you notice the '...' at the end of the post title and the three words at the start of the first post? Put them together and you get, "Describe Your Dog (Or cat), with a song".

Nope.  as I said...Naw.  I don't Meander much.  I'm a pretty Literal ******.  I'm a Taurus.  I'm pretty straight forward.  That's why I miss alot of the "subtle" ****. It doesn't interest me.

Sorry bro.  Not really in a happy mood tonight

YOU got a dog Eric?  What Kind?  I've had 3 Boston Terriers, and a Storm Doberman.  In my Adult life.  And...a Boston, when I was a kid.

What's your dog history??

I spend a lot of time with my brother's dogs, a German Shepherd and a 1/2 Hound-1/2 German Shepherd. I don't have a dog myself right now. I like large-breed dogs, especially shepherds. As Ron Swanson once said, "Any dog smaller than 50 pounds is a cat and cats are useless." I've always been around dogs and I love their company. The only thing they want is food and attention. In return, they give you everything they have. That is a hell of a trade.

So...You don't LIVE with a dogYour opinions are irrelevant.

"Example".  My daughter took her "Girl"... 125 lb Bloodhound out today to the dog park.  There was a little "**** eater yappy", fluffy **** out there...off leash...And the Big Girl on leash..took off to "Talk to the Yapper".

My daughter's shoulder, hopefully will be better in a couple weeks.

You wanna do "Dog Videos"???

Are you serious?

Yup.  You get up every day to take a dog out to "do Business"?  You Feed, cuddle, and "LIVE" with a dog EVERY DAY??

Yeah, I'm serious.  I just took my 89 year old aunts 11 year old poodle into my home cause she's in an ALF.  Pretty cool little ******.  HELL of a watch dog!  Sticks to me like fuckin Glue.

What the hell does that have to do with anything? Just because I don't have a dog right now doesn't mean I haven't had dogs, and cats for that matter. I know all about taking care of pets. I've been there when some of them were born, I've had to put some of them down (a couple of them personally) and I've been there for everything in between. I'm not sure why my pet owner's bona fides should have the slightest bit of relevance to what I was trying to do with this thread though.

My earlobe is still scarred and lumpy because our dog chompped me when I was very little, and I got a bunch of stitches.

Charlie Brown looked very much like that, but he was brown/black brindle.

Mom always said I deserved it.

Ouch! The last time a dog bit me that bad, I was in the Army and I was at a girl I met's parents' house having lunch on the patio. I had a sandwich in my right hand and I was looking to my left, talking to the girl's father. He was standoffish, but I was trying. The girl's mothers Rottweiler came up on my right and bit the ever-living crap out of my right hand, trying to snap away the sandwich. I turned around and brought my left fist down on top of the dog's head and knocked him smooth out. It was a reflex action, but it did the trick.

There was silence for a few seconds and then the father started laughing his ass off. He laughed so hard he was crying and his face turned red. It turns out that he hated that dog, which was prone to bite it turns out, and I had just become his new favorite person. So, I was in with the father, but it was the mother's dog and she was pissed. Her anger rubbed off on the girl and that budding relationship came to a sudden and complete stop.

The dog was only out for maybe thirty seconds. When he came to, he moved away from me and a few minutes later, kind of crawled back over to me, leaving a trail of urine. It was a sign of submission and maybe fear for the dog, but the mother took it for further evidence that I had broken her precious pooch. Anyway, the dog licked my hand and we were pals, for the rest of the afternoon at least. That was the last time I was invited over. It's funny, but that girl's mother never climbed off her high horse once to consider the possibility that I might sue them. The dog bit the hell out of me. It never occurred to me to do so, but I would have won the suit if I had.

It was a few years ago. I cleaned it up with hydrogen peroxide and slapped a couple of my daughters Band-Aids on it. It left a pretty good scar.

In hindsight, I should have had it checked out. It all worked out in the end.

Yeah, puncture wounds can go south quickly. The risk of infection is a real concern with them. Glad it worked out.
