Administrators Eric Posted July 28, 2021 Administrators Share Posted July 28, 2021 Dusty Hill, the bass player for ZZ Top, died last night in his sleep. I’ve spent a lot of my life with that guy’s bass lines playing in the background. He will be missed. RIP.

minervadoe
I once drove from Portland to Palo Alto in one hop. My only stop was for gas. I just let my ZZ Top Afterburner album play for thirteen hours straight. I still love the album. He will be missed. One of the great ones.
Paul53
Saw them in Las Cruces. Great music but most memorable was the 15 minute break between sets. Billy, Dusty and Frank drove bumper cars around the stage most of the "Break."
