Beginner's Tutorial for shooting?

Long story short, I've agreed to teach my daughter's boyfriend how to shoot. Go ahead and dispense with the jokes, but I like the kid.

Are there online tutorials that dispense with the basics, such as the top rules of firearms safety? Probably not, I'll just school him myself.

Most certainly he won't have a better instructor anywhere.  Especially since you like the Kid.  I think that's really fantastic of ya sir.  Bet He will too.

The NRA basic pistol class is a truly excellent course.  I've taught it many times.

I wish I'd gotten that class as a kid. I grew up learning how to shoot with my daddy occasionally slapping me on the back of the head.

Honestly, i thought i knew some stuff until i took the course to support a buddy.  I had already been teaching cops.

I learned a LOT from that class.   I learned even more from taking the basic teaching class. Even more by teaching it.

It's a well thought out program.

Finger off the Trigger.

Proper stance.

high grip and proper support hand.

useful sight picture and alignment.

Breath Control.

Follow through.

all that leads to the lesson of practical point shooting.

then finally, keep your filthy hands off my Daughter.

Daughters are natures curse on men for their own teenage behavior.
