Single-use plastics currently account for more than a third of all plastics produced each year. What’s more,

98 percent of single-use plastics are manufactured from fossil fuels.

Those plastic wrapped potatoes are actually pretty good.  Just leave the plastic on, pop them in a microwave for five minutes and they come out perfect.

Your right, I've tried them.  But when I looked at the difference in price between them and a regular potato I decided I could jab it with a fork and have a larger potato for far less.

We had to switch to plastic packaging to save the trees.

Now we have to reuse cotton bags, poor little cottons are being killed by the thousands.

Except we had to ban reusable because KungFlu.

Now we have to ban the extra safe packaging because whales and stuff.

I buy potatoes from the farmer, in the summer I get all the produce there. Take a box and load it up with whatever they have at the time. Get a bunch from my own garden too.

I live in the middle of the city. Not a high rise or anything, but a city lot.

God I miss living in the country.
