I own several Colts, including my EDC Commander. Good guns. Maybe I just got lucky.

crockett
At this point I'd rather buy a Dan Wesson. Edited February 13, 2021 by crockett

The new Python definitely has problems. No, I have a Colt Commander that is several decades old. A Colt AR that is about 50 years old, a Colt SAA that is about 50 years old, and a Colt 1911 that is, get this, 104 years old, and in great shape.
crockett
Never mind, Dan Wesson stopped making revolvers. WTF.

I once had a 1903 hammerless .32 acp that worked flawlessly. Made in January of 1911. Sadly lost in the famous whaling accident.

There’s a reason why the British Invasion was so successful. He said British invasion was successful. British and German cars and bikes aren't anything to brag about and most require a lot of upkeep. Even the Fanboys that are honest with themselves whine about the reliability. The Japanese invasion? Now that one has a robust success.
