Here's my hypothetical......under the guise of budget reconciliation, next month, registration of all firearms is passed, federal licensing for all purchases of guns/ammo, limits on purchases/month/year, magazines over 10 rounds are outlawed/illegal to transfer, no transfers of ARs, Aks, etc. Mandatory "buybacks" or confiscations will ensue. So, barring quick SCOTUS action, incredible damage to our 2A rights will be done forever. Unless SCOTUS nixes it, or the next Congress/Senate repeals it, the damage is done.
