crockett
I haven't bought any reloading supplies in maybe 2 years. Stocked up after the last draught several years back. So I just went on a few retailer website and couldn't find primers ANYWHERE. I had no idea how bad it is. Went to GunBroker to see what people are paying private hand. Holy ******* ****! $240 bucks for 1,000 primers! If I would sell my stash...........
crockett
Current bid, not even an ended auction: $155 for 500 primers. That's over 300 bucks for 1000. Never seen anything like that before. That's 10 times more than what I paid for mine.
crockett
Once primers become available again, I will invest 20k and store it somewhere safe according to ordinances. Just a matter of time and it will be worth 200k within 4 or so years.
EdTracker
I hear you! You might have to build a bunker to store all you need. It pains me to pay the going prices. Recently started 12g loading and was able to find Fiocci and Cheddite at $58 /box when you buy 5000. Historically, I could buy loaded 12g for only a little less than rolling my own but now it's just ridiculous. Those primer prices are stupid. Honestly there may be an investment scheme buying primers low and selling high. Primer Stock Market dot com!
