Guns in movies

In the early days of movies, any old gun would do. In a later period, westerns were almost 100% Winchester 92s and Peacemakers regardless of appropriateness. They have increased the variety, and I was pleased to find a Smith & Wesson large caliber break top in the latest “3:10 to Yuma”. Any other notable sightings?

There was a tune travel movie from the eighties called Timestalker. I don’t remember much about it except that Claus Kinski was in it and he was a time traveler. Others were searching for him and found a picture of him from the old west, holding a modern revolver with a swing out cylinder. I enjoyed the movie back then, but I’m afraid I’d ruin a fond movie if I were to watch it again today.

Anyway, your thread reminded me of it.

Nice shotgun.  Who makes it?

Bad news.

I did some research on the gun and found some interesting facts out about the unique weapon. The designer is TsKIB SOO from Russia. It was designed in 1993 in 12, 20, 28, 32, and 410 ga. The civilian version is not commercially available; only parts are available on request. If you want this gun you would need to find someone that already has one willing to sell it...
