Fnfalman
My condolences. One of our tabbies went to Mrs. Binky's Happy Hunting Ground two weeks ago as well. He was old and decrepit, so it definitely was time for him to go meet his Maker. My mom said one night he scrambled to get to her bed, lied there, made meowing sounds and then passed away. He was 16, so he led a long, good life. 3

RandomGuy
Our deepest sympathies. We lost our first cat at 16 years of age. Even when they pass on they’re always with you.

Walt Longmire
They leave a hole in your heart the size of Alaska when they go over the bridge.
railfancwb
The number of cats waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge exceeds the number I’m still feeding. Each has been mourned and missed. There are a few dogs waiting also; at least some of them lived with some of the cats.

Wyzz Kydd
It's tough losing a pet, particularly one you've had that long. I lost my buddy Pete years ago. He was also 17 years old. An orange tabby Manx. Sorry for your loss.
holyjohnson
I`m Sorry Tom. Prayers and Condolences to You and your Family. Hardest thing we do for our Buddy's is Knowing when the Time has come. You did what was right for your Buddy as hard as it is. God Bless.
G21H30
Sorry for your loss. It's difficult to lose a fury friend. They always give us unconditional love and brighten our days no matter what else is going on in our lives. The longer I live the more I like cats over people.

tadbart
I'm sorry for your loss of your family member. I have a special place in my heart for old orange cats. Years ago, my parents' neighbors got carted off to jail for a long time. they fed their orange tomcat for quite a while. Somehow, he ended up at my house on the other side of town. I loved that cat. He was good indoors or out- liked the virtues of both. One night, he didn't come back home. Turns out, he got chewed up by some dogs. It SUCKED burying him. Haven't had a furry pet since, and that was probably close to 20 years ago. I still miss that rascal.
