i think a WWII Trans-Atlantic Crossing may be Slightly more Comfortable than Going Greyhound.

I don't like telling people how awesome a movie is, because it sets their expectations too high. Then when you ask them if they enjoyed it, they sorta give you a "meh".

Without being too geeky about it, this was the best movie I've seen in a long, long, looooong time.

BUT.....

I am absolutely fascinated by WW2 Naval stuff. It's my jam. YMMV as to whether or not you like it.

You might like the book Escape from Corregidor, by LT. John Morrill, USN.

I think it was published about 1943 or 44...but you can get a Kindle copy from Amazon easily.

Ayep.  Corregidor is $2.

Also The Raft: Three men, 34 days and 1000 miles adrift.  By Turnbull.

Couldn't put either down.  Really great reads  But the raft from The Raft...is at the US Navy Aviation Museum in Florida.

Amazing.
