May he R.I.P.

Once Upon a Time in America is one of the best Scored Movies of all time and the Soundtrack with the pan flute made it.

Harmonica in Once Upon a Time in the West.

Sergio Leone was a Genius for his Use of Music as its own Character.

He was an outstanding talent. I have his Western music, The Mission and other stuff on my phone. I have versions of his songs by him performed by him, the Prague Philharmonic and various others. Arrivederci Signor Morricone.

I can't even pick my favorite five of his work. The man was a genius.

Great concerts in heaven this week. :sadangel:

No kidding.  The guy could use a drum and a, i don't know, glass with ice in it...and make something to remember forever.

He scored so many great westerns it's hard to pick anyone of them.

Art Bell, the radio guy, once said, "Long after I'm gone you'll remember me by the bumper music i played."

Now if you'll excuse me.  I'm going to listen to some great music.
