    Dicks Just Got Dicky-er

I have only ever been to Dicks once. Bought a shot gun at a black Friday sale. Now I will never go back unless it's their going out of business liquidation sale. Sent from my Moto E (4) Plus using Tapatalk

    Global........cooling

Yeah in the 70s I was hoping for more snow. Now I am hoping for Kalifornia weather here in Seattle from global warming. I didn't get the snow. Not holding my breath for the Kalifornia weather either. Sent from my QTAIR7 using Tapatalk

    Favourite Rimfire Rifle?

Got this at the gun show today. Second hand like new. M&P 15-22. This may become my favorite rimfire. Sent from my Moto E (4) Plus using Tapatalk

Picked this up at the gun show today. M&P 15-22 FDE. Second hand from an estate sale. Opened it up and it appears to be unfired. There were also 2 black ones from the same estate. They looked more used. One had an aftermarket barrel. Sent from my Moto E (4) Plus using Tapatalk

    Should a truck have 4X4?

Around here a 2X4 is almost impossible to sell and have no resale value. So I only buy 4X4s. That's almost all the dealers have anyway. You do see more 4X4s in the ditch. Because they feel more stable on snow and people go too fast. They will loose control like any other when you hit the brakes at too high a speed.

    Butthurt in Ohio

That guy is such a putz. Whining crybaby. He just needs to accept failure and slide away into the sunset. Nevermind that will bring him to the west coast and we don't want him. Sent from my Moto E (4) Plus using Tapatalk

    Favourite Rimfire Rifle?

How well dose the S&W 1522 work. I am thinking about getting one. Is 22LR enough to cycle the action reliably? Sent from my Moto E (4) Plus using Tapatalk

This is what I have so far. Left to right S&W M&P 15 in .556, Active Combat AC15 in .223 Wylde, Dimondback DB15 in .300 BLK Tatical Grey. I may add an S&W M&P 1522. I think a .22LR would be cool. I would like to hear from some owners who have them. I wonder how well they work. Sent from my Moto E (4) Plus using Tapatalk

    I can’t believe I just did this:

HUH my SO was born in France and she likes 9mm. Good for making holes in paper. I will stay with .40 or .45 for carry. 9mm for cheap practice or just shooting fun at the range.

Hey Eric, can you delete my account?

This site is good enough. A little hard to navigate. So suck it up and stick around.

    Best budget no-frills AR15?

S&W M&P 15 sport II was a good choice. I got one a few weeks ago. I have 2 other higher end ones in .223 Wylde and .300 AAC. I wanted a basic one with iron sights. That is the best choice for the money. I paid the same as you. They also had the Ruger for the same price. At first I thought Ruger. But I looked at them side by side and I think the S&W is better made. And the front sights are different and I like the S&W better. And the MBUS rear sight is real nice for an inexpensive rifle. Now I just need to resist the temptation to upgrade it. It will be fine the way it is. I may add a cowitness optic that can just be popped off or looked through if it fails. I wanted iron sights for home defense as they won't fail. I did order a dust cover for it that has the caliber on it. We have .300 AAC in the safe as well. I just want them all clearly labeled for caliber. Just because if I forget and make a mistake it could be bad. But that was easy to install. But I go through phases. I may shoot my AKs or SKSs for a while. I also go through more standard rifle phases or rimfire. Then just hand guns all winter in indoor ranges. Although I was also thinking I would be willing to take this one outdoors in the rain. When I go back to the ARs I would hate to remember wrong which is which. The labeled door is cheap insurance.

    Your Hummingbirds Leave Yet?

I have a glass and copper feeder. I the winter I wrap heat tape around it. Will need to do that soon. The first year it made them nervous the first few days. Now they don't fear it at all. But their food wont freeze. And is about 40 degrees. So it helps warm them up a little.

    Your Hummingbirds Leave Yet?

There are some here year round but the ones that migrate have gone. My feeder lasts all week now. In the summer 2 days max.
