Heck, most of the name acts would sit with the folks and pick for hours after their show. Yes, I can say that I played with J.D. Crowe, Earl Scruggs and Tony Rice. I remember setting up the mics. There was no stage plot. I asked where he wanted them, where he wanted the stool to sit on. He told me I'm not particular, anywhere you think is fine.
