holyjohnson
my Grandfathers cellar used to smell like moisture leeching through the concrete and garden fertilizer, that is one of my favorite smells,my Garage has the same smell now and it gets me right in the feels. NitroMethane. Vinyl pool liners or brand new beach balls (i know but i love that smell it reminds me of summer as a kid) the unburnt hydrocarbons of a dual Carbed big block with a big lift cam in the summer. G96 Gun treatment is right up there. CRC`s old parts washer solvent, that stuff would lay you out but smelled great through the washer.

Huaco Kid
Tire stores. I worked at several 'tires only' stores when I was a kid. I could bust a tire, fast. Leather stores. We have a biker shop around here that has real craftsmen. They'll make whatever you want. "Can I just smell you?" "No." Actually, real Army surplus stores (not the kind that sell new camo-colored china stuff, but the real old stuff. The smell of moldy canvas takes me back to camping with Dad, and all his old Army stuff. (He had a four-man tent. Which was good, because it took four people to carry it.) I can tell the quality of a surplus store just by walking in and taking a deep whiff.

KWalrad
Pipe tobacco in my grandfather's garage. The pipe, my grandfather, and the garage are all long gone, but I'll bet there's a piece of oil stained concrete sitting amongst the ruins of an old farmstead in Tully, New York that still smells of pipe tobacco. I can almost smell it.

Borkum Riff. I've still got one pipe that is a buffalo head, with ivory horns. So, I can still smell it, if I want to.

Batesmotel
Hot steel. I mean real hot. Like out of the forge or stick welding hot. The smell of building something serious.

C_Hallbert
The smell of fear as you drive your enemies before you and hear the lamentations of their women. Napalm. The slightly venomous red spray from a spotted stag beetle. Collodion. The Ocean. Fresh oysters. My Wife’s cooking. Beer. The woods on a damp morning. JÄGERMEISTER. Frying hot dogs out on the boat. Diesel Exhaust. Fresh coffee that smells like nearby skunk. Fires as witches burn on hot August nights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Duluth
The inside of a vintage Cessna. The Irish countryside on a cool rainy day when they're all burning turf in their fireplaces.
Foxterriermom
The sweet smell of corn pollen hanging in the air on a hot summer night Freshly cut hay The top of a baby's head after a bath The smell of expended Black Cat fire crackers and dots on a cap gun strip The mixture of oil and gasoline in the dirt of the floor in my Dad's barn The brick and mortar on my childhood house. I could stand on the closed-in porch and huff that smell all day while leaning closely into the wall. Although I have never smoked, I've always liked the smell of a freshly lit cigarette outdoors on a still, frigid day. However, it must also be accompanied with the sound of a Zippo lighter. The mingling of quality cigar smoke with whiskey. Freshly sliced watermelon The damp smell of a coniferous forrest Leaves burning on a crisp fall day
