G19Tony
When are we going to see these people swinging from lamposts?
Moshe
Not anytime soon. NM was FUBARED before, now they added another layer of crap. I suspect they will find themselves like California with high taxes on everything, especially energy bills, and they have already made draconian firearm laws recently. Before if we traveled to NM to see my dad and he wanted to go to the range with me, I legally can't hand him a firearm to shoot, or vice versa. It is a land where Islamic terrorists, child molesters, and illegal alien gang members abound. But, apparently AOC and Governor Grisham want to make things worse. If I was subjected to AOC in my area, I think I would have to slap her until she became intelligent.
windowasher
If the citizens of New Mexico would wake up and vote about 1/3 of their legislators out en masse, the others would wake up
holyjohnson
it will prove too expensive and be a precedent of failure, people should move if it will be too expensive or prohibitive to live there of the 20 power plants in NM using NG or coal how many can they afford to close and import only "clean" power? how many are public or private? i think its sometimes good for these socialist do-gooder schemes to fail in smaller areas rather then nationally, not so good for new Mexicans though.. The problem is that nobody that's involved ever tries to understand why something failed, so they move somewhere else and try it all over again, with the exact same results. Then they still don't understand, and the cycle continues.
Moshe
I would call it the Blue March. California messed up Colorado, and then destroyed NM. They are going to mass exodus. Who will they infect next? They move from their crappy place, and then turn the next place into a crappy place, and then move on like a horrible virus. When you have a State of approximately 2 million people, there isn't much wiggle room. The problem is you have Katrina transplants, a huge legal and illegal gang population, a plethora of child molesters due to the lenient laws in their favor, and terrorists. Then somewhere in there is a small percentage of regular people. I think my parents are going to pull out of there eventually. I think selling off all their rentals to the Broker was the first step. Dad is cleaning out his shop that is probably half the size of my house. They didn't know what to do with all the scrap lumber from half completed projects. I suggested an industrial dumpster. They thought that would be too expensive. But, it would a heck of a lot easier on the elderly, than throwing it in the back of the truck and making several runs to the municipal dump. Hillary and AOC have the reverse Midas touch. Everything they touch turns to ****.
