Silentpoet
https://www.foxnews.com/us/parents-arrested-in-california-after-sons-under-2-years-old-found-in-cages Kids found in a meth lab house. Nothing about it surprises me. At least based on the article they didn't diddle the kids. Believe me, I have many cases I have seen where they have been that young.
PATCHMAN
Drugs and guns. Not surprising. Parents who dabble in drugs and locking their young kids in cages... also not surprising. How's Colorado doing with their share of similar parents? Edited April 24, 2019 by PATCHMAN 1

Moshe
It doesn't take California for this scene. Busted a husband and wife who were smuggling an illegal alien. The co-smuggler had a toddler, was pregnant, and had a crack pipe in her purse. That was South Texas, otherwise known as the butthole of Texas. 1

Back in the '70's South Texas (Rio Grande Valley) was a pretty good place to live. There were very few illegal crossings at that time but local Mexican nationals came across the border a lot to purchase clothing and other items they couldn't easily get in Mexico. Many of them wore oversize clothing when they came across. They shopped for nice clothing and wore it back across the border under the oversize clothing so they would not be taxed by Mexico on what they bought. It must have worked out for most of them cause they kept doing it. Maybe they sold the clothing on the Mexican side to make a bit more money.

Laredo, not so much, but that was 1998-2003. The major crime there was smuggling cartel dope, and people. They would protest us doing out job, not because they genuinely cared, but because we were getting into their back pocket by enforcing the law. In Laredo, every time a new expensive vehicle came out, expect to see at least 400 of them around town. Like 400 H2's, all at once. Walmart looked like your local dump, because Mexican Nationals would shop there, not want to pay the tariff on the way back, and leave all the packaging all over the parking lot. They would also shove their way to the head of the line, as if no one else existed or was waiting. If you owned a pickup with an open bed, expect to find their baby diapers in the back. Like I said, Laredo, the butthole of Texas.
