Also had several double down on their ignorance of what I was really saying, insult me, my intelligence, my truck, and just generally accuse me of doing things that will kill people through my supposed stupidity and lack of listening to them. I ended up going on a little bit of a rant against the treatment I received as a new member asking a basic question, and fully expect to find out that I'm banned from that site. Probably why it is sinking. So, far, everyone seems to have chilled here. There are other sites I have seen out there that are a free-for-all. It is also burning and sinking. Some people just feel the need to try to assert themselves in order to feel superior I suppose. When I calm down and think about it, I actually kind of feel sad for them that the internet is the only place in their life they can act like they actually know anything. Cougar_ml Posted May 21, 2019 Author Share Posted May 21, 2019 Alright, so to add one more note to this thread, the item in question in the original post finally has the paperwork approved on it, so now I just have to drive down to california, get it loaded up, then drive back up here with it. I'll start a new thread with pics since I know at least a couple people here will probably be interested in it. Decided since I have to drive my F450 to get it, and it has a flatbed on it, I'm going to drive down through Nevada instead of I5 through Cali. It's an extra 100 miles each direction, but I don't have to stop at any weigh scales so timewise it might even end up shorter, and almost certainly cheaper since my truck is definitely not up to Cali specs right now.
