TXUSMC
Found a new-in-box Leatherman tool from the mid-80s, with the little black box-like leather sheath. We know it today as a PST, but the cardboard box it came in referred to it simply as "Leatherman Tool". Had a copyright date of 1985. Was originally purchased in an Eddie Bauer store. I own several Leatherman products - Wave, OHT, and now a PST - and like them all, but that original PST was perfect. Minimal tools, right-sized, rides so easy on the belt... and that box-like black leather sheath just screams "old school". Paid $50 for the package (box, sheath, and tool). Wore it to work today. Life is good. Sorry, no pics (my limited IT skill-set). Google Leatherman PST, if you must. Semper Fi Edited March 26, 2019 by TXUSMC
janice6
I have mine sitting right next to me now. My kids gave it to me on Christmas when they came out. I was doing something and broke a blade. I called Leatherman and they sent me a new replacement tool right away. I was surprised, but pleased.

jmohme
Another out of production Leatherman that I have is the Mini. Closed it is really small. About the size of a couple of AA batteries. Fully opened it is a full sized Leatherman
janice6
When they first came out with the mini with scissors, I bought my wife one. It's long lost, somewhere, at some time. I liked it.
TXUSMC
Sigobsessed, you nailed it... that's identical to mine. Even after all of the subsequent offerings from Leatherman, it remains a wonderful tool.
