Moshe
I have access to tires, though, I am beyond my building ability (physically). Free labor is always nice. There is plenty of land for static shooting, combat shooting, and the Tire House would be for a shoot/don't shoot having to peak around corners. I have been googling for designs and end up with hippie houses. Do any of you have a good schematic you may have done, or has been done. I want to twist and turn it, so it is always facing down range for the shoot/don't shoot targets, and the shooter has do a 45 degree angle peek before taking or not taking the shot. Thanks. TXUSMC
My only experience going through a tire shoot house was at Angelina Co Sheriff's Office a couple of years ago. A lot of fun. I thought their's was pretty good, but have nothing to compare it to. I suspect you're not that far away from them... am sure they would let you see what they have. willie-pete
My old club in Ohio built a shoot house in one of the bays; not tires though, doubled RR ties. Here is Ken’s article on it. http://www.swatvault.com/columns/training-and-tactics/home-invasion-ken-hackathorn-defensive-shoot-house-course/ Edited August 14, 2020 by willie-pete
