OldCop71
While I realize I am looking for a Unicorn made out of unobtanium, I'd love to find a .357 lever action rifle for under $400. Good mechanical condition or repairable, finish doesn't matter.
Bren
If you aren't picky about the brand, it's easy to find a Rossi 92 for that - they are around $480 new, so under $400 if you can find a used one, which shouldn't be hard. My wife has one for cowboy matches.
RonS
Might as well get a Rossi, they are as good as any except the really deluxe brands and easily tuned. One of my co workers bought one and tuned it himself after watching YouTube videos. Perfectly fine guns but a little rough when new.
Doc McGlock
Prolly going to have to troll the gun shows and pawn shops. LGS are always a tad over priced. The best used in San Antonio was henry .357 $595 and I looked everywhere. Lots of Marlins 30-30s. I ended up getting a NIB, half octagonal 20" Uberti .357 for $950 shipped to my FFL. That was the best I could find at the time and I'm really glad i spent the extra money. It is a very nice gun! After a couple more trips to the range, I'm going to strip it and see what I can polish it to refine it. However, It's surprisingly smooth as it is! Good luck! I'm always on the hunt and I'll let you know if I come across something.
Taco Junkie
I want one of these too but I really want a Henry. Got a Sig P250, a HK VP9 and a Thompson Center Compass with Vortex 4x12 scope in 6.5 Creedmoor to trade toward it.
OldCop71
Well, I found a Henry .357 carbine for less than retail but more than I wanted to spend, so it is in the safe now. It joins its cousin, a Henry .45 LC and a Marlin 30-30.

Pointblank
I've got a Marlin 1894 JM that I'll never sell.
OldCop71
.357 on top, .45LC in middle, 30-30 on bottom.
Dynactus
Yeah, I have a pre-Remlin Marlin in 357. Sweet shooter.
