Bish1309
My company uses them to determine actual miles driven. I get a discount for driving under a certain number of miles each year. So far it's just verbal with a letter as the initial request. I declined the "digital" collection method. Mrs.Cicero
State Farm has a similar program, but in this state they cannot use the info to raise your rates, only to lower them. I'm still not doing it.
SigMan
If I used one of those devices, I’d probably be lucky if all the insurer did was raise my rates.
ARP
State Farm offered the same type of program. My Agent, when I asked him about it said I would be a bad risk for the program as my rates were already in the lowest bracket and that the chances of it raising my rates were good.

At least you got some guidance. Mine was just a formal invite letter. Still ignored.

M&P15T
Ya'll know there's thousands of auto insurance companies out there, right? Many are much better (not just cheaper, but better) than GEICO, State Farm, etc. Only a moron would let their auto insurance company actively monitor their driving.
