Christmas Cards...

Recommended Posts

Today I wrote out my Christmas cards and will mail them Thursday as the PO will be closed tomorrow.  Anyone else still send out cards? tom. :tree:

I send just one. I have a friend out east who's really into Christmas. She'll send me a card, so I send her one. I've never been the card type.

None anymore. My social circle is almost totally gone. I'm 75 and most of my old friends were older than me, and virtually all have passed or in one case, no longer remembers who I am. I've got a few younger friends, but if I see them more than two or three times a year it would surprise me. And sending cards by "snail mail" seems as antiquated as having a land line telephone (I still have one of those). My only season's greetings now are comments on Facebook for my "Friends", mostly relatives that I don't much care for anyway.

We send out a few. Years past, we would do the whole family photo and send that, but since the daughter has gotten older and no longer wants to participate. Although I have threatened to replace her with the Great Dane and start the tradition over.

We don't send them out any more, but I'll be waiting by the box in eager anticipation of receiving your card Tom.

No Ma'am. If anyone were to actually send me a card, it would be either you or Deputy Tom. You're both good eggs.

Here's to wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

I'm a single divorced guy about to turn 50.  Me sending out a Christmas card would be weird.  Would probably look like this...

That's one reason my list is so long.

A lot of them are business clients too.

I truly cherish every one I receive.  All sent by local area business.  Maybe because I've never sent one in my life.
