Christmas Cards...

None anymore. My social circle is almost totally gone. I'm 75 and most of my old friends were older than me, and virtually all have passed or in one case, no longer remembers who I am. I've got a few younger friends, but if I see them more than two or three times a year it would surprise me. And sending cards by "snail mail" seems as antiquated as having a land line telephone (I still have one of those). My only season's greetings now are comments on Facebook for my "Friends", mostly relatives that I don't much care for anyway.

We send out a few. Years past, we would do the whole family photo and send that, but since the daughter has gotten older and no longer wants to participate. Although I have threatened to replace her with the Great Dane and start the tradition over.

Did you get mine yet?

No Ma'am. If anyone were to actually send me a card, it would be either you or Deputy Tom. You're both good eggs.

Here's to wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

That's one reason my list is so long.

A lot of them are business clients too.
