Oh no!  Another OUTRAGEOUS news story that leaves me OUTRAGEOUSLY OUTRAGED!!!

meh.

Move out.  If a bunch of roommates don't want you there,  then you really don't want to live there.

Meh.  She was FORCED OUT of a place where she CHOSE TO LIVE.  Meh.  That's the difference.  Why would a liberal be concerned with fellow liberals acting intolerantly?  Of course you wouldn't be.  So, meh.

So if the roommates are the ones to move out, the property owner says that she is responsible to cover all of the rent.  I'd like to know exactly what was in the rental agreement, and who signed it for that to be valid.  Unless they are past the contract agreement and now living on a month to month rent basis, anyone who moves out before the contract is up will be penalized financially.

Because she is the one being asked to leave by the property manager, and they have absolutely no legal basis for doing so, they should refund all of her rent paid up until this time to make up for the inconvenience they are causing her.  Short of that, she needs to sue the crap out of everyone involved for all the reasons listed, especially the invasion of privacy.  Either way, she needs to get away from all of the people involved.

On the other hand, if I lived near Harvard, I'd probably let her live with me for free, she's a gun owner that's pretty good looking.

my response would be "or what?"

where is it in the lease that my lawfully secured and 100% legal firearms are an evictable offense.

also in Mass. a landlord has to give 24 hours written notice before entering a rented space, and a leased room is considered a leased space.

that`s criminal trespass,it also includes all of her roommates who went through her room as well.

If this were any other set of circumstances, the ACLU would be all over the roommates and landlord like stink on ****.  Every last one of them would have the living snot sued out of them for the variety of offenses outlined above.  But since it's a conservative, and since it's about those bad guns, the ACLU won't touch it.  Hypocrisy once again.  I used to believe in the ACLU, many years ago.  Many, many years ago.  They never fail to fail.

Imagine the media coverage if a set of Christian roommates went through another girls room and found, I don't know, a prayer rug or homosexual literature.  Then, imagine they claimed such items made them feel uncomfortable.  The landlord agrees, and that other girl is booted.  Just think about the media firestorm that would be unleashed.  Now?  Not much coverage.  Bad guns!  Baaaad!  Baaaaaaaaaadddddddddd!

How did it go?

She handled herself well.  Not looking for attention.  Not seeking the limelight.  Just answered the questions, said she's focusing on studying for her finals, and will see what happens after they're over.  She said she's never gotten a straight, truthful answer as to why her roommates were searching her room.  Also that she's already been contacted by lawyers willing to take her case, but for now it's time for studying.  There is hope for this land.

I hope she sues the snot out of these little goose-stepping Nazis, and the landlord who appeased them.

Be advised that Progressive Liberals have already copyrighted the term ‘Nazi(s)’ as a tactical device primarily used to describe ‘Conservatives’ in their political narratives and ad-hominem attacks. You may face civil litigation for using it even if your usage is technically correct.....

I think when describing Fascists that clamor for big government solutions to all problems, and who self-describe as National Socialists, the term Nazi is most appropriate.
