Walt Longmire
I was riding to town with my grandson when the quake hit. Cars were pulling over. Get to the airport and it was still kind of chaotic. No flights were leaving so went home to check on my house. No damage. A few thing fell over. Far different from the 7.3 we had 2 years ago where tons of hit the floor. Still waiting on flight information.
Walt Longmire
The highway between my house and town is closed due to cracks and settling. I do have an alternate gravel rout I can take. The Seward Highway between the Peninsula and Anchorage is closed due to rock slides. Lots of road damage north of Anchortown.

Being a land line, that won’t work (duh) but you may have a strange automated message on there. I’m the cause. Glad you’re safe.

Peng
I used to work in the Cook Inlet, there are 3 or 4 active volcanoes there - any news on them? I can imagine an earthquake might just piss one off bad enough to erupt. Just what the area would need right now.
