Way to liberal for my state, even now!

They used to have all sorts of drive up places, like drive up dairies where you could get milk, bread and few other things.   You just pulled up and someone came to the car and took your order.  Thinking about it, that's sort of what Walmart and others are starting to do now.  You can order groceries on your computer or phone and they let you know when it's ready and you just pull up and they put it in your car or you can have the order delivered to your home.

In 1945 US naval architects tried to imagine what the next generation of Soviet warships would look like. It included this 120,000 tonne 'battleship' with 8x18" guns and aircraft carrier deck. Definitely a frankenstein fleet!

Looks like the Edward McGovern Tobacco Warehouse I visited in Lancaster, PA, it was converted to a brewery called the Lancaster Malt Brewery.  Fun place, good beer, nice atmosphere.

November 5, 1872: Susan B. Anthony votes in the Presidential Election. She is arrested two weeks later, found guilty and fined $100. Women were not allowed to vote. She refused to pay the fine. She voted for Republican incumbent Ulysses S. Grant.

Passed by Congress June 4, 1919, and ratified on August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment granted women the right to vote.
