Is there a new Glock 9mm with a ported, long slot, in the top of the slide?

 

Like the top one or farthest right depending on your perception.

To my knowledge, not OEM.
This was a custom slide and porting job on my 26/5 using my OEM barrel and slide. By Rock your Glock. Its my understanding that aftermarket ported barrels are available.

I much prefer the "clean" Factory look. I had a Gen 3 G20c and I wish I could have kept it but I sold it to buy a G20SF because the frame fit my hands so much better. What surprised me though, was that I tried an aftermarket un-ported barrel in it an found that the porting really didn't make much difference as far as recoil was concerned even with heavy underwood 10mm ammo.

Slide cut reduced the weight as it supports the benefit of the barrel porting. I have noticed a positive difference in recoil reduction. Combined with the Big Dot 24/7 sights, I have faster POA / POI acquisition with quicker follow up shots.
Certainly beats my 9mm Shield.
The 26 for EDC with an additional G19 or 17 mag makes a big difference for packing additional ammo.
It also allows me to used the 26 for HD, while keeping a spare 33 rd mag in my nightstand and one in my vehicle.
Such power in a small package really is convenient.
