Does anyone know if there is anything in the pipeline to SCOTUS for overturning the law? I transport people to DC every year for the right to life march, we have good discussion on the way.

Just so everyone is clear, the term right to have an abortion is not true. RvW gave women the ability to have an abortion and not be prosecuted for having an abortion. And anyone who insists that they have a constitutional right to an abortion is just wrong. Hand them a copy of the constitution and have them point it out. They can not, it is not there. Overturning the law punts RvW back to the states where it belongs. All it would do is overturn a badly written law.

Imagine the effect on the mentality of our black population if instead of aborting impoverished black children, they were given up for adoption and raised by middle class families.  It would change the easily controlled black demographic to a better educated segment of the population with entirely different opinion leaders.  Win.  Win.

Quote

Minority women constitute only about 13% of the female population (age 15-44) in the United States, but they underwent approximately 36% of the abortions. According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than 5 times as likely as white women to have an abortion. On average, 1,876 black babies are aborted every day in the United States.

This issue is all about control of a demographic.

None that I could see. http://www.scotusblog.com/case-files/terms/ot2018/

Btw. In the mid 80s I researched a brief regarding a case dealing with the certificate of necessity for an abortion clinic.

Fwiw. What most people don't know is that the issue of abortion (trimesters) goes back to St. Thomas Aquinas. He first pronounced that the moment of "quickening" (end of first trimester) was the moment when the soul entered the body. Before that moment, according to him, no soul and hence no human being.

Whatever...

Exactly how does this person know when the soul enters the body?

St. Thomas Aquinas lived in the 13th century AD. He used both inductive and deductive reasoning.

The "quickening" moment is commonly referred to as the moment when women first feel the "kick".

Either that or he used specialized equipment like a BK Scan.

No, not Brett Kavanaugh Scan. Baby Kick Scan.

And if you have ever seen sonogram during a 2nd month abortion...

Here's a blog that explains it so much better than me, Mr. Longmire--- https://divineunmeritedloveblog.wordpress.com/2018/01/26/st-thomas-aquinas-the-culture-of-life/

If I may add that the distinction between trimesters, namely the legal parameters by which constitutional review of a particular law was scrutinized as  expounded in Roe v. Wade, necessarily referred the science at the time (1973).

The truth is that this has NOTHING to do with abortion, absolutely nothing at all.  The Roe decision is what they use to incite the mob, but Roe is settled law, as both Gorsch and Kavanagh stated clearly.

It is really about the Supreme Court having a majority of strict interpretation members, so the left can’t push socialist agenda items onto the country.  But the mob doesn’t get excited about that.  Most of them are no longer educated enough to understand the implications.  So they push the abortion button, but it didn’t work with Gorsch.  And it didn’t work so well this time, so they decided to push the #MeToo button, and then mixed that with the abortion button to distract from the real objective.

But the idea is to still distract from the real objective.  So don’t let it.  Roe is settled law, so don’t let leftists get you off on that track, just say it is settled law, THEN ask what defines one human from another.  These days, most will answer DNA, or you can steer it that way.  Just imagine all the fun you can have with that!!!
