Last time I used an outhouse was a couple months ago. As for the rest, most of them were actually before my time, so I can't remember because they never happened. The last ime I used my wired home phone was five years ago in a power outage. tom. It's the same phone line as my parents use next door. That house is wired into the same phone box as this one. Really I don't ever have any reason to use it, so it's down at the level that my 8 year old son can use it to call his mother. The only real reason I have it hooked up to begin with is if the power goes out. Cell service kind of sucks here.

janice6
I have played the wife's old Edison Crank-up record player with "Lucky Lindy" more often than a modern record player. ( She had two "Apple Crates" full of the old 3/8" thick records)
Batesmotel
I'm seriously increasing my walking to rehab an old injury. I just dug out my Walkman and my walking and running tapes. Most have never been available digitally. You guys make me feel so out of date. Not old, just out of touch.

I can remember working on construction jobs when the port-a-potties were still made of wood, but I'm also old enough to have used a real sho'nuff outhouse a long time ago. I also remember construction jobs when carpenters used hammers instead of nail guns and electricians and other tradesmen use screwdrivers instead of battery drills.
janice6
I don't remember the last time I used my Leading tools. 1/4 lb. sticks of Lead, Beeswax trays and Paddles. The files could remove skin if you slipped with them. Lots more fun than Putty.

We have to keep a wired phone all the time because our electric company sucks and the electricity goes out if someone sneezes driving by the property. We are on an old trunk line and the electric company has promised to put in new line for the last 28 years. Hasn't happened yet.
