TRUMP ORDERS DECLASSIFICATION OF DOJ, FBI DOCUMENTS

President Donald Trump ordered the immediate declassification of several documents relating to the 2016 FBI investigation of his campaign, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced Monday evening.

“The President has directed the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to provide for the immediate declassification of the following materials: 1. pages 10–12 and 17–34 of the June 2017 application to the FISA court in the matter of Carter W. Page; 2. all FBI reports of interviews with Bruce G. Ohr prepared in connection with the Russia investigation; and 3. all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all Carter Page FISA applications,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said.

Sanders continued, “In addition, President Donald J. Trump has directed the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to publicly release all text messages relating to the Russia investigation, without redaction, of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and Bruce Ohr.”

Conservative lawmakers have long alleged that the documents will reveal widespread abuse of the FISA system by the highest levels of the FBI during the 2016 campaign. Lawmakers also point to the documents relating to Ohr’s contacts with salacious dossier author Christopher Steele, along with his wife’s connections to Fusion GPS.

I don't think anyone with a "D" behind their name will be held accountable no matter how treasonous and unconstitutional the crimes until the torches and pitchforks are deployed.

Not only the (D) politicians, but all those from the Obama Administration, FBI,DOJ,IRS,CIA,NSA etc.

That includes the Clintons and their Foundation.

Looks like the Deep State is going to delay and delay.

It is not yet known when the government will release the documents. A U.S. official says the declassification process ordered by the president will be a "complicated" matter. The documentation was characterized by the official as large, and the official also said that there is no time frame for the release. It is also possible that the material will be released piecemeal.

I may be wrong, have been before

if they release the information and documents to the public. They are not going to be admissible in court if they want to prosecute any of the principles.

are they shooting themselves in the foot by doing this

Are you saying that releasing the documents to the public makes them inadmissible in court?  Why is that?

Inadmissible? Not necessarily

easy to dispute? Yes.

difficult for a prosecutor to show as untainting the jury pool/jury? Yes

even of the documents themselves are definitive, the media storm surrounding them is not.

when the documents are disected, nuanced, shredded, microanalyzed be every talking head, talk show host, legal expert, and commentator?

/The accused may also request a closure of the trial; though, it must be demonstrated that "first, there is a substantial probability that the defendant's right to a fair trial will be prejudiced by publicity that closure would prevent, and second, reasonable alternatives to closure cannot adequately protect the defendant's right to a fair trial./

sixth amendment argument

(But, what do I know)

Somethings gunna happen here.

Sessions runs the DOJ.  If Rosenstien and Wray defy a Presidential order, Sessions is going to have to make a decision.

He is going to side with the President and fire both Rosenstien and Wray, or he is going to get his own ass fired.  President Trump will just fire all of them at once.

IMO Sessions is Deep State and he will not side with President Trump on this.  He has defied Congressional Subpoenas with impunity and I believe he will go to the mat for the Deep State and defy President Trump's order as well.
